Melissa Tucker

"The art of communication is the language of leadership."

-James Humes

My name is Melissa Tucker. I would like to thank you for coming to my website to view my work and learn more about me!

If I could describe myself in three words, I would say I am determined, creative, and passionate. I have a very driven spirit and always aim for goals outside of my comfort zone. I am an extremely passionate person with everything I do. I strive to achieve excellence in any task presented to me.

Currently, I attend Stockton University as a senior in Galloway, New Jersey. I am a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Writing. Anything related to the field of Communication is a passion of mine.

I have worked with several amazing companies and organizations. Townsquare Media, Spirit Halloween, Unclear Magazine, and The Atlantic City Cinefest are some of the great companies I have had the opportunity to be a part of. I worked as a Digital Media Intern at Townsquare Media during the spring of 2017, spending my time writing blogs and editing videos for local radio stations. I am continuing to write for Unclear Magazine in Philadelphia, PA.

During the summer of 2018, I worked as a Social Media Intern at Spirit Halloween's headquarters. I was mentored by the Social Media Manager for Spirit Halloween and was able to get hands-on experience with using various social media tools, among other things.

In Fall of 2018, I worked with Professor Kinsella at Stockton University as a Video Intern in the "Telling Stockton's Story: 50th Anniversary Internship" course. I spent my time editing footage found in the archives of Stockton University's library. I also edited footage from Stockton alumni and current students.

When I'm not working, I spend my time watching films, listening to music, and hanging out with my closest friends. I love going to Starbucks and reading the latest news while in a comfy chair. Since I live in the Pine Barrens, I also love walking around nature and taking in the beauty of the area.
